Born in Rochester, NY, Dylan moved to Atlanta with his family at the age of three. Although he considers himself a true southerner, Dylan was drawn to Colorado for its Hiking, Biking, and the overall Health and Wellness culture and moved to Boulder in February 2015. Prior to falling in love with CrossFit, Dylan was a successful High School athlete, lettering all four years as captain of both the Wrestling and Cross Country teams. Looking to continue that competitive outlet, he jumped into CrossFit - the constantly varied, functional movement performed at high intensity was a perfect fit. Dylan competes regularly in CrossFit competitions around the country. He also just finished up his degree in Physiology at the University of Colorado. When Dylan is not coaching, training, or competing, he enjoys mountain biking through the Flatirons and dining at the many great restaurants Boulder has to offer. His biggest personal aspiration is to be a competitor in the CrossFit Games.
In his role, Dylan is passionate about working with members and helping them grow as athletes. He understands that the majority of people who start CrossFit are not doing it for the money, medals or glory, but rather to feel better, look better, and be able to do more in their daily lives. Dylan believes the power of fitness lies in the accomplishment of tackling one’s own fears, barriers, or challenges. He is committed to helping members push themselves and learn to find comfort outside of their comfort zone.
